Fees at LifeSpring Counseling Services vary based on the mental health practitioner you are working with. The information above is provided as a general reference. The specific fees for the primary counseling services offered at our Maryland-based practice can be found on each of our therapist’s profile pages.

Individuals who use their health insurance to cover their sessions will pay a lower rate. As always, we recommend that you contact your insurance company directly to ask them if you have a deductible or copay for outpatient mental health counseling services.

Late Cancellation Fee: $130-$250*

*The cancellation fee varies based on your therapist’s session fees. Different therapists have different hourly rates.

Out of courtesy for your therapist and the time that they have reserved specifically for you, we ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Frequent cancellations or no-shows leave gaps in the schedule that are unable to be filled. You will be charged the entire service fee for last minute cancellations (less than 24 hours) and no-shows.

All of our therapists are in network with CareFirst and BlueCross BlueShield health plans. Many of our therapists are also in network with Cigna/Evernorth Behavioral Health and Johns Hopkins EHP. Our therapists can provide you with a receipt for reimbursement known as a Superbill if you have out of network benefits with another insurance company.
